A strong contingent of current and former Kaiviti Silktails talent is currently camped in Sydney, gearing up for a high-stakes international showdown as part of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Rugby League squad. The team features former Silktails standouts Anisito Komai, Temesia Jilivecevece, and Josaia Raboiliku, alongside current Kaiviti Silktail Savenaca Ravono, all bringing their elite pathways experience to the military side.
The RFMF squad is currently preparing in Sydney before traveling north for a blockbuster curtain-raiser match against the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Rugby League team. This trans-Tasman military clash will take center stage as the official curtain-raiser ahead of the massive international fixture between the Australian Kangaroos and the Fiji Bati in Brisbane this weekend.
For the Silktails family, seeing these players transition from club pathways to represent the nation on an international stage is a proud testament to the club’s development culture. With current star Savenaca Ravono leading the charge alongside seasoned alumni Komai, Jilivecevece, and Raboiliku, the boys will carry the fighting spirit of both the RFMF and the Silktails community when they run out in Brisbane.
