The Kaiviti Silktails are proud to announce the re-signing of both Sirilo Lovokuro and Jonathan Roseman after impressive 2022 seasons in the Ron Massey Cup.
The duo from Momi in Nadroga are still under the age of 21 next season and the club’s Executive Director Stephen Driscoll has high hopes for the Cuvu College graduates.
“It’s hard to comprehend that both boys will only be playing in their second season of Rugby League next year. JT (Roseman) is a massive body for us in the middle and has a great motor for someone of his size. Siri (Lovokuro) on the other hand is super aggressive but has a real knack of making breaks and finding the tryline for us also.”
“They both come from the same village as Maika Sivo and we knew when we got them we knew they would be raw but that the bloodlines were good and both players became regulars in our 18 man RMC squad each week.”
The club also want to pay mention to John Wright and the team at Ramsay Engineering for becoming the Official Player Partner of both Lovokuro and Roseman.
“John and the team at Ramsay Engineering are a Brisbane based business with John originally from Lautoka, Fiji. To have Ramsay Engineering join our Sponsorship Family as a Player Partner for not just one but two players speaks volumes of John’s commitment to help our young players from Fiji.”
“On behalf of Sirilo, Jonathan and our Board, a big Vinaka Vakalevu to everyone at Ramsay Engineering and welcome to the Silktails Vuvale”.
