Vilikesa Re-Signs With The Silktails

The Kaiviti Silktails are proud to announce the re-signing of Silktail #48 – Manoa Vilikesa.

“The club is excited to have Manoa back on board for season 2023.” said Head Coach Wes Naiqama.

A former QVS student, Manoa came to us via the BTS Roosters and Coastline Roos clubs in Sigatoka, becoming a regular member of our 17-man RMC Squad in 2022. Manoa was hitting his peak last season and following a man of the match performance against Wentworthville, he was then struck down with season ending syndesmosis injury that required surgery.”

“Manoa has really impressed us with his application during rehab, and despite his injury we have resigned him this season to bring that hard edge to our pack he gave us last year.” said Coach Wes Naiqama.

Silktails Executive Director Stephen Driscoll also welcomes his Player Partner Sponsor Bavarian Engineering.

“Bavarian is a current Senior Sponsor of the club looking after our clubs Sydney Fleet that will transport the team for their matches in Sydney. Mass and Mary have now extended their contribution to the club by becoming Manoa’s Official Player Partner” said Driscoll.

Bavarian Managing Director Massimo De Martino said “We are proud to sponsor Manoa Vilikesa for this up coming season of 2023 as an extension of our continued support for this wonderful football club”

Congratulations Manoa!
